Alberto Alemanno is a legal scholar, academic entrepreneur, civic advocate and - due to his desire to disseminate and popularize the results of his research - a social innovator. He was named 2015 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is currently Jean Monnet Professor of Law at HEC Paris and Global Clinical Professor at NYU School of Law where he is the Faculty Director of the EU Clinic. He is also the founder of eLabEurope, a civic start up promoting civic participation and engagement in Europe and beyond.
