Bio

From the hills of East Tennessee to the Rift Valley in Kenya, Adam Mosley has had a life full of ups and downs. Over his 20+ year career, Adam has spent time as a corporate recruiter, the marketing director for a record label, executive director of a coworking space, and multiple roles at churches large and small, including his pioneering work as Lead Pastor of Trinity Vineyard Church Nakuru, Kenya.

In his current role as Director of Global Business Development for Uzima Water Filters, Adam spends his days working with people around the world who are helping bring clean water to the global poor, one family at a time.

Adam has a passion for seeing others live the life they are created to live, and for shining a light on the opportunities and challenges of living compassionately. His book, Missions Unmasked, chronicles his learnings as a pastor and friend of missionaries and challenges others in their approach to missions.

Is This My Problem To Fix? (Expat Expat Guilt and Responsibility in the Developing World)

It's a question global business people, diplomats, missionaries, and nomads in the developing world must ask themselves: In the face of abject poverty, what is my response? How can we go beyond "hiring locals" and begin to mobilize effective solutions for the world's most significant problems? In this session, Adam discusses how a connected global family and a committed local tribe can join together to improve the quality of life for developing communities.

Raising, Arming, and Unleashing Your Compassion Monster

What does your compassion monster look like? Adam Mosley discovered his compassion monster in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake on the island nation of Haiti. Since then, that same monster has taken him around the globe. In this presentation, Adam shares his recent experiences in Haiti with a life-changing water filtration project which, to date, has impacted over 200,000 people.
