TIM LEMIRE is a professional writer/editor with more than 30 years' experience in a variety of communications-related fields. He is a published author of several books, including "I'm An English Major—Now What?", which Slate.com rated #1 among all available career guides, calling it "by far the most helpful, as well as the most fun to read." He also has an MFA in creative writing (fiction) from the University of Michigan.

As a private citizen, TIM LEMIRE advocates for family law reform in his home state of Rhode Island. He has written legislation and testified at his state legislature, and he also lends editorial support to local organizations that support shared parenting legislation. He has had several editorials on family law reform published in The Providence Journal.
