Jodi was chosen in 2021 to do her TEDx talk on the Body Blueprint, How Your Pain May Be Telling A Story.

She has spent over 25 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist working with professional athletes such as U.S. Track & Field doing massage therapy at World Championships and U.S. Trials. For almost a decade she enjoyed working on the Medical Team for D.C. United, Major League Soccer.

Jodi travels the globe talking on the subject of how your biography impacts your biology. She bases her work on science originally introduced by Dr. George Engel on the Biopsychosocial Model. Dr. Engel suggested that pain is not just about a patient's biology. We must take into consideration the psychological stress and social pressures the person is facing.

Jodi uses humor to entertain and inspire her audiences. Her message is designed to introduce the audience to the concept that pain is more than skin deep.
