Daniel Kaplan is the founder and General Manager of the New Generation Internet Foundation (FING). In 1986, Daniel Kaplan founded JKLM, a leading digital communications agencies in the world, he leads until the early 1990s before becoming a consultant. He then participated in founding the consulting firm digital strategies, Proposition. Since the 1990s, Daniel Kaplan is deeply involved in the development of the Internet in France and in the world. Globally, it was responsible for members of the Internet Society and contributed to the creation of ICANN. He was a member of the Expert Chamber of the eEurope program. In France, he took part in the Strategic Advisory Board on Information Technologies (CSTI), attached to the Prime Minister. In 2000, he founded FING, a think tank dedicated to "produce and share new and actionable ideas anticipate the digital transformation. " He is or was a member of several corporate and academic foresight committees (Inria, Telecom Ecole de Management...). Daniel Kaplan is also part of France's National Digital Council.
