From a young age, Darlene has been fascinated with the legal system, and enjoyed a career in business and corporate law for nearly 20 years. After working for a county court judge for several years, she worked in the Oil and Gas business like her father, earned her MBA in Finance at night, and eventually landed a senior-level position in the legal department of an international Oil & Gas producer.
10 years ago, she developed several chronic auto-immune illnesses, Epstein-Barr Virus (Chronic Mono), Lyme Disease, and Lupus. Under a doctor’s care for nearly a decade, she was on 12 different medications, which changed her personality, affected her memory, affected her work, and her marriage fell apart.
She knew deep in her soul that if she was going to find healing, it wasn’t going to be with western medical care. She took her life and her health into her own hands and learned Reiki and Angelic Reiki, which resonated with her so much that she studied and became a Reiki Master Teacher, and a Meditation Teacher. Once getting off the medications, she started feeling better, and things started falling back into place at home and work. Recent blood work showed that she is now completely free from Lupus.
Darlene is now a holistic health & weight loss coach, Reiki Master Teacher, and Meditation Teacher who helps other professional women ditch the stress, stop the body bashing, and create a life and lifestyle that flows with deep peace, vibrant health, and joy.
Darlene is passionate about sharing her experience and the benefits of holistic therapies so that others may be helped without going through the same traumatic experience that she did.
Additional courses include alternative holistic therapies and spiritual healing, including Herbalism, Shamanism, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy, Color Healing, Sound Healing, Intuitive Healing, Quantum Healing, Spiritual Counseling, Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy, and Qigong (pronounced Chi Gung).
