My passion for writing and speaking was birthed from the death of my mother. For years I struggled with a positive way to cope, but only through writing did I unveil my true therapy. Eventually, it opened up doors for me over the years as I became involved in performing Spoken word and hosting at local coffee shops. It has also allowed me the opportunity to speak at different events. I am the founder of Uninterrupted Thoughts where I strive to make an impression "one thought at a time". My love for poetry has enabled me to positively impact people's lives and help aid in their healing through words. I come from a past of domestic violence, sexual abuse, the death of a parent and low self esteem as so many others have as well. My story is mine to tell alone and I know that my voice can help save someone.
