A wife, mother, author, consultant, and motivational speaker, Anitra Lahiri is passionate about helping people turn their addictions, problems, or mistakes into flourishing futures. Ms. Lahiri earned her degree from New York University, completed Yoga Teacher Training in 2004, and holds certifications in Reiki I & II, Natural Health, Life Coaching, Time Management, and SMART Recovery Facilitator Training. Anitra Lahiri volunteers with addiction recovery groups, speaking to them about the amazing possibilities that recovery can bring them. When not writing or speaking to nonprofit groups, she’s usually enjoying time with her husband and best friend of 25+ years, their two extraordinary sons, and their beloved furry four-leggeds. She and her husband love watching wildlife and spending time outdoors. With a name that means “merciful,” Anitra Lahiri believes there is no such thing as failure — only lessons learned and opportunities for self-improvement.
