Jon DiMaggio is a Chief Security Strategist and has over 14 years of experience. He possesses advanced expertise in identifying, tracking, and analyzing Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). Additionally, Jon speaks at national level conferences such as RSA and BlackHat. He conducts interviews based on his research and cybersecurity with media organizations such as Fox, CNN, Bloomberg, Reuters, Wired magazine, and several others. In total, Jon has conducted over a hundred media interviews since 2014 engaged as a spokesperson and subject matter expert representing his employer and their brand. Jon uses his expertise in advanced targeted attacks to highlight his employer as an industry leader in cybersecurity and intelligence. Additionally, Jon’s research has been used and cited by law enforcement and used in federal indictments into nation-state attacks.
Jon has extensive experience analyzing threat groups to gain intelligence on adversary’s motives and attribution to help prevent future attacks. Jon is a subject matter expert (SME) in tracking cyber threats to identify new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), infrastructure, and personas used by cyber threat actors.
