I’m Aisha and I'm a London based Pakistani, here to break the stigma and talk about Mind Positivity. I recently graduated from INSEAD and work for a global company here in London where I look at managing talent.
With first-hand experience of being a woman with ambitions, I believe in fundamentals of breaking down all the stigmas, 'taboos' and uncertainties that society has unfairly afflicted onto the topics encompassing body image, mental health and well-being. For years, I have truly battled with my own mind, and that battle was not made easier by the fact that having conversations around fatphobia, microaggressions, colorism was not normal.
With the online community, I have founded @TheInbetweenerGirl on Instagram, dedicated to normalizing conversations around mind positivity, aimung to create a platform to debunk the myths and share personal development accessible for anyone and everyone looking to get inspired.
Whilst we as 'the little people' need to do our part in normalizing mind positivity, ultimately the issue runs a lot deeper than just what our friends and family members think of us.
I'm your everyday, average girl starting to address topics around body positivity, mental health and well being.
I'm here creating a safe space for women to inspire and deepen their knowledge on these topics. It would be great if we could collaborate or you can support in spreading my positivity across your audience.
