Deborah is an Early Brain Development Specialist, author, international speaker and founder of Brain Insights, LLC. She has trademarked the term, Neuro-Nurturing® and has created the unique series of Neuro-Nurturing® Interaction Packets for parents of children from birth through age 5.
Deborah is passionate about assisting and working together with anyone that is dedicated to positively influencing children. Supporting individuals, groups, organizations, schools, companies and communities with understanding or implementation and also celebrating positive influences, she finds to be extremely invaluable and rewarding.
Children frequently experience either the opposite or an inadequate amount of all that is need for optimal development. A lack of knowledge is critically impacting the future of not only children and their families, but our communities and over all society as well.
The incredibly positive difference basic knowledge and understanding makes is so desperately needed. So to receive accolades for creating the series of packets for parents, and to successfully provide presentations, keynotes and be featured in publications, on radio shows, webinars and summits has been fulfilling and ignites her passions even further.
Additionally, a wonderful collaboration with Redleaf Press Publishers to create the well-received broad series of packets for early childhood professionals has been an on-going highlight as well. She also is honored to serve on the board of directors for the Parenting 2.0 Global Ambassadors and in 2019 to be nominated for the NAEYCE board.
Deborah is overjoyed with the response to Brain Insights® and the impact of reducing the effects of trauma and stress on young brains, with her overall goal of supporting children to shine the beautiful uniqueness of who they are.
Throughout her career as a kindergarten teacher, children and families educational program coordinator, prevention focused community leader, national project evaluator, ECE Degree Instructor, child and family policy advocate and now international speaker and author, she has been extremely dedicated to networking and supporting professionals and all adults gain an essential understanding of the ways we each can easily contribute to making a REAL difference that benefits all.
