Mark Garrison is a nationally renowned trainer specializing in strategic communication and leadership development. With nearly 20 years of experience in strategy and communication in the political arena from Capitol Hill to City Hall, having worked with all levels of government, Mark has expanded beyond just the government sector. Using a unique perspective of behavioral intelligence, he has had the opportunity to work with organizations such as Ford Motor Company, Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, JCI, Wayne State University, along with many other local non-profits and small businesses. Mark’s expertise is in Team building, Leadership Development, Generational Diversity, Strategic Thinking, Storytelling, Introverts/Extroverts, and Behavior.
He started at an early age creating and designing communication strategies and messaging while he was completing his undergraduate studies in Political Science with a focus in Communication Strategies and Organizational Psychology at Wayne State University.
He was one of the youngest people ever elected to the Board of Education for Clarenceville School District, where he served for 4 years, a majority of his term as an officer. He was an active volunteer in the City of Livonia where he lived most of his life and is a graduate of the Novi Ambassador Academy in the City of Novi where he currently resides.
From keynotes to workshops, Mark has traveled the globe developing talent, from entry level employees to executive management. He is a Junior Chamber International (JCI) Certified Trainer and Presenter. Mark has a Certificate in Training from ATD where he is a Professional Member and a member of the Detroit ATD Chapter.
