Connie Stapleton

"Connie, where do you get all of that energy?" I was born with it! I exude passion for encouraging others to face themselves, to learn to appreciate, like and, dare I say, even love themselves? Those who are willing to courageously look inward are the fortunate few who can connect with their authentic, bodacious selves and who can create the happiest lives possible!

For the past 30+ years, since beginning my own journey inward, I have developed a joy-filled life, a world I couldn't have imagined possible prior to rediscovering my authentic self. Since that time, my career and "hobbies" all center around heartening others to actualize the happiness they may be "wishing" for.

Following a decade of internal self-demise, while simultaneously establishing a young family, at the age of 29, I entered intensive therapy and started a program of recovery from an array of chemical and behavioral addictions. I then returned to college to complete both a masters and PhD program, all the while continuing my own personal development and facilitating others in the process of becoming closer to the person they say they want to be.

Twenty five years of clinical experience, speaking to patient and professional groups, intense observation of people, and incessant continued education from a myriad of sources have led me to the message I impart with diverse groups of people: Peel that onion of its layers of protective shields and rediscover the incredible, authentic self you were born to be.
