Bio

Billie-Jewel Sexton and her husband, Sean, founded Bridge the Gap Ministry (BTG) in August of 2018. The mission of BTG is to make the church a safe, inviting, and accepting place for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Billie-Jewel pulls from her own experience, as well as from those she has helped during her time as a Domestic Violence Victim Advocate, to educate people about the impact of trauma and importance of support and acceptance.
