Diana Hallare spent her childhood as a Filipina expatriate in the Middle East. She moved to California when she was a teenager. Ever since illness broke her childhood dream, her experiences have fueled her creativity and voice for community resilience.
She is currently a multicultural community health advocate, a resilience speaker, and Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist with a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Manchester, England. She has organized art shows for people living with disabilities, facilitated creative writing groups, taught high school/college students, edited literary magazines, and promoted chronic disease prevention/management. Diana understands chronic conditions, not only from a scientific or public health perspective, but also from a personal point of view.
To help people living with chronic conditions access a fuller quality of life, she wrote the book, "Instant Insights on... Career Wellness for Chronic Illness Warriors," which won the National Indie Excellence Award for Small Books in 2018. She later founded Inspirenade to guide businesses toward worksite wellness and to accommodate employees and customers with disabilities.
Her mission: encouraging communities to be champions of their wellbeing and the fulfillment of their potential.
