Born without his right hand and having once been told that he would never succeed as a concert pianist, Nicholas would not be discouraged from his dream and went on to study at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London.
His graduation in July 2012 drew press headlines around the world, being the only one-handed pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music in its 130 year history. In March 2018 he was awarded honorary membership by it’s President, HRH The Prince of Wales.
He has enjoyed an international career as a concert pianist and speaker and has performed at the London 2012 Paralympic Closing Ceremony alongside Coldplay, toured the US, Europe, Japan, China, South Africa and has released two top 10 classical albums.
As a speaker he has given two TEDx Talks, one of which was the largest ever organised TEDx event to 6000+ people at London Royal Albert Hall. He has spoken for and coached within countless businesses including Goldman Sachs, THALES, BNP Parabis, ITV and ITL to name a few.
