I help leaders improve their resilience, productivity and influence, so they achieve more in their lives and live boldly, happily and with less stress.

- Too many leaders live their lives at 100mph, deluding themselves that they thrive on the buzz whilst;

A) Cutting corners on important things.

B) Sacrificing precious things for trivial gains.

C) Over-promising on what they can deliver.

D) Living by instinct rather than calm reflection and intelligent strategy.

E) Letting down those who are closest to them.

The result? Broken marriages, long term health issues (mental and physical), under-performing teams costing thousands in lost revenue, unrealised personal potential, poor interpersonal relationships at home and work: who wants that?

- Too many leaders get drawn into things they'd rather avoid, or battles which are not theirs to fight, so they become:

A) Overwhelmed by the number of tasks they have to juggle.

B) Drained by the constant fire-fighting.

C) Distracted from the important things they should be addressing.

The result? burnt-out leaders who cannot cope with their roles, who struggle to handle their emotions and who make poor decisions when they most need to be smart: who wants that?

I'm passionate about creating a generation of healthy leaders, who are equipped to handle themselves when they're thrown into the raging, white water rapids of leading a team. I'm passionate about creating leaders who are successful at work, enjoy happy family life and are in good physical and mental health ... NO-ONE DESERVES TO MAKE THEMSELVES SICK THROUGH WORK!

It's this passion which fuels my speaking and coaching. I pride myself on delivering accessible, unique insights in an entertaining style, so as well as enjoying my talk, every person has learned something which they didn't know before.

In my spare time, I'm an outside, water-loving 43 year old, who proudly retains his juvenile sense of humour, is an expert dad dancer and ignores the fact that he's now middle-aged. I'm also a dad to 4 energetic kids, which means 2 things. 1) I have very little spare time, 2) I'm a taxi-driver, cleaner, porter, triage nurse, war-zone reporter, chief investigator, law enforcement officer, diplomat, relationship counselor, health & safety officer, multi-skilled entertainer, cook, maid, slave, expert choreographer and fashion consultant/guru (my teenage daughters would unanimously dispute the last two).

Mastering Resilient Leadership: it's a powerful blend of 3 key ingredients

Just imagine what your organisation would look like, if your CEO struggled with personal resilience:

- When problems occur, he/she flounder,s either rushing at solutions or opting for the 'head-in-sand' approach.

- Innovation? Being ahead of the game? Developing leaders? Forget it! There's no time for that stuff, the CEO will be focussed on how to survive in the moment, reactively fire-fighting, blaming others, blaming him/herself, causing the rest of the team to become fearful that the problems are insurmountable.

How to master time, so you achieve far more but with far less stress

Most of us would love to effortlessly manage our time: juggling the kids, smashing the targets at work, being the community hero and perfect partner, yet still finding space for 'me-time' at the spa.

Most of us know about goal-setting and breaking big jobs into smaller chunks, but most of us still struggle to manage our time and the words 'time management', can fill us with dread.

1) How do you delegate wisely, so the job you delegate is completed to a good standard and on time, and that the person you delegate to is developed?

2) How do you prioritise so the important things get done at the expense of the trivial?

3) How do you overcome the habit of procrastination once and for all?

4) How do you learn to pick your battles and avoid being drawn into things which you'd rather avoid?

In this presentation, I share 5 top principles of time management, delivering fresh insight and original tools so you can live productively, happily and with less stress.

How to avoid abusive relationships & thrive in healthy relationships:

Research suggests that 40% of reported cases of domestic abuse, involve men as victims but most debate focuses on female victims, something which contributes to a misleading understanding of abuse within our society. In order to protect our daughters and our sons from the ravages of abusive relationships, we need to accept that:

A) Men and women abuse.
B) Male victims face similar and different challenges to females and it's only when we understand these similarities and differences, that we can raise awareness, support victims effectively and protect future generations.
C) It really is possible to equip people with the skills to spot the warning signs of abuse and take action early.

Most people have only a vague sense of boundaries and how to form them, but if we're serious about equipping people to spot the signs of abusive relationships and take early and decisive action, we need to teach them about the 3 distinct types of boundaries which exist and how to create them.
