Dr. Gayle MacBride offers a straightforward, honest approach with usable skills. Dr. MacBride is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD), and relationship issues. Her work helps her clients use evidence-based skills for coping with mental health symptoms, build healthy interpersonal relationships, hold boundaries, and effective communication skills. She has completed coursework from the Gottman Institute, which specializes in relationship issues. Dr. MacBride is also trained in Discernment Counseling, a specialized counseling technique to help couples whose relationship is on the brink.
