Bio

Ashleigh Hyland is a fully bilingual graduate from the University of Ottawa, holding an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her dedication to advancing systemic change has been exemplified through her role as the Program Manager at CAPSA. Ashleigh is an esteemed expert and national educator on substance use stigma, the Principle of Substance Use Health, and workplace health. In her role, she strategically leads the successful delivery of CAPSA’s programs and services that transform stigma into compassion, the implementation of health-focused workplace policies and practices, and advocating for equity in Substance Use Health.
