Bio

Summing up his mission in one statement, Chuck Wells is driven to contribute to the Real Estate industry as a Speaker, Coach, Instructor and Peer Leader raising awareness, knowledge, skill set and the professionalism of the REALTOR community while in turn impacting the experiences of the public. In 2001 he followed his entrepreneurial curiosities into the field of Residential Real Estate. Now twenty-three years as a REALTOR member, Chuck is a member of The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, currently serving as State Chapter President, WCR member ( Women's Council of Realtors), having served as a previous Chapter President, and NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals). Through his tenure, he has served on the local, state and the national levels. In 2020 Chuck cast a larger net and joined a national coaching and training company, The Locker Room. Even though his bio speaks to the real estate industry, his speaking is applicable and adaptable professional industry lines.

Curiosity = Change ... a community of inclusion through curiosity.

Biases ... such a current buzzword. What are they, where do they originate and how do we overcome them? Through the time invested in this session, you will gain a higher understanding, a increased comfort level and feel equipped with solutions of championing your desires of being less assumptive, more inclusive, and creating a culture of curiosity. (This can be adapted as a keynote, a 2 hour workshop and a 3 hour workshop.)

* Growing our relationship and understanding of biases by understanding the root of them through our life experiences, learning, upbringing, faith and media.
* Increase your knowledge and confidence in currently used terminology ... implicit vs explicit biases, equity vs equality, micro vs macro aggressions and the battle of our unconscious vs conscious mind.
* Attendees will be equipped with a path to overcoming biases and on the way to reprogramming the unconscious mind.
* How biases also play into Fair Housing violations ( for real estate audiences )

Those of diversity have found themselves bullied, valued less than a fellow peer, not understood as well as feeling alienated. As leaders, we have so much to offer through the lens of our perspectives yet what gets in the way? We do. Let's discover how to ignite the courageous leader within. ( This can be a keynote or a 2 hour workshop setting. )

* Attendees will learn to identify three challenges of courage ... fear of alienation, personal assumptions that block our progress and being locked into current behaviors ... and through awareness along with commitment, progress begins to unfold.
* Attendees will discover that Courage is a process ... not a destination.
* Courage has traits and qualities. In reviewing ten of the top traits, Attendees will see the courageous leader lies within them for those of diversity posses courage.
