Robert Kohnle journey as a distinguished professional began with a solid foundation in education and healthcare. He embarked on this path at Emory University at Oxford College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he pursued pre-chiropractic courses from June 1977 to June 1978. This initial step laid the groundwork for his future in healthcare. He then advanced his skills as a Respiratory Technician, graduating from Miami Dade Medical Center in Miami, Florida, in December 1979. This training shaped his approach to patient care and medical technology.
He continued pursuing medical knowledge, attending Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. From April 1983 to December 1987, he diligently worked towards his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This period has marked a significant phase in his career, equipping him with comprehensive knowledge and skills in chiropractic care.
Concurrently, he embarked on a professional journey as a Respiratory Technician, gaining valuable experience at various esteemed medical institutions. He served at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia (January 1976 – June 1977), Urban Medical Hospital in Smyrna, Georgia (June 1977 – June 1978), Ft. Myers Community Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida (June 1978 – June 1980), and St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia (June 1980 – March 1983). These roles gave him a deep understanding of respiratory care and patient management.
After completing his chiropractic education, he joined Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon, as a Respiratory Technician from December 1987 to September 1988. This role further enhanced his clinical expertise. He then established his chiropractic practice, Health Essentials, Inc., in Portland, Oregon. From April 1988 to July 1998, he not only practiced as a Chiropractic Physician but also led as the President of the Total Wellness Clinic, applying his extensive knowledge to improve patient health and wellness.
