As a young girl who grew up in Africa, I was determined to be successful. I grew up going for my goals.
I graduated from College as the Best Graduating student in 2013. I also won an award from the Educational Advancement Centre (EAC) as the Third-best candidate for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Pre-mock examination in my state.
I proceeded to study my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where I graduated with a Second Class Upper in 2018.
During my undergraduate degree, I founded Kaizen Organization in 2016 to support students like me in gaining leadership skills and entrepreneurship skills to prepare us for the outside walls.
The first programme was organized in September 2016, themed "MAKE A MOVE" which was a launch and free programme focused on core skills and entrepreneurship.
The second programme held in January 2017, themed "BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE , this was to emphasize more business management.
In October 2017, the third programmed was held, theme "CEO TO CEO - Mastering to Mastery". The third programme has seasoned speakers from Industries, and we had attendees from across Nigeria.
I also participated in voluntary activities as an undergraduate with organisations such AIESEC , iTouchlives. I have always been dedicated to grooming and helping people succeed.
After my undergraduate degree in 2018, I began my professional examinations to be a qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
In November 2019, I was awarded the below prizes by ICAN:
1. SWAN Best Female Qualifying Candidate
2. ICAN Second Best Qualifying Candidate
3. Best Candidate in Advanced Audit and Assurance.
I started my Career in Ernst & Young, Nigeria, where I was rated Highly Effective (5/5 rating) Performer from 2019 till 2022, for high performance (which comprises excellent; technical capabilities, quality & risk management, client, and colleague relations, etc.).
Based on my passion for coaching personal finance and investments, I registered and became a CFA Investment Foundations Certificate Holder- CFA® Institute.
In 2020, I and my team organized another programme themed "LET'S TALK BUSINESS AND INVESTMENTS", this was a programme to teach individuals who struggle with finances financial literacy.
In 2021, I began another professional qualification examination with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
In 2022, I launched a private personal coaching company "WEALTHY NEXUS" to teach on financial literacy.
This is 2023, and I am more interested in giving back to the community and sharing my story.
