Life teaches us all many lessons, some more than others. Since losing our only child, my husband, John, and I have learned what it takes to forge ahead and find new purpose in life; helping others to improve their lives by enhancing their focus on what is truly significant in life.
Known as an efficiency expert and serial entrepreneur by family and friends, I am always a forward thinker, spending time working on projects to make life easier and more organized for everyone I connect with. If there's a way to do something with less time, money, and effort, yet producing the same result, I can find a way to make it happen. For the majority of my career, I have been in the mortgage and real estate industries, running my own mortgage document preparation and closing company since 1996 and becoming a REALTOR® in 2008.
My husband and I have been happily married since 1995. Our beautiful son, Dalton, was with us for 15 years, and left for Heaven just after Christmas in 2013 due to injuries from an ATV vs. sandrail accident. Dalton lived his short life with the intent to create smiles, laughter, and happiness by sharing his kind spirit and helping others through tough times. We continue his legacy by counting our blessings as often as possible for the short time we had him and practicing random acts of kindness in his memory, each and every day.
My books, Parenting At Your Best, A Parent's Guide for Journaling to Their Child, and A Parent's Journal to Their Child are a tribute to Dalton, with hope and anticipation that the stories and advice they offer will inspire others to excellence in their parenting and ongoing communication with their children ages 0-100.
