Bio

Yovanna Madhère is a clinical social worker, transformational speaker, self-published author, confidence coach, and model. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a Master of Social Work degree focused on health & mental health. She is a Dean’s Fellow, a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and a recipient of other academic Fellowships and accolades.

Through her spiritual, mental, and physical practices, Yovanna has healed herself from the pain caused by trauma and she has dedicated over 10 years of her life helping her clients become their best selves. Yovanna is also a fitness, health & wellness expert, and has been a certified personal trainer and Zumba instructor. Originally from Queens, NY, she is a first-generation Afro-Latina American. Yovanna loves food, fitness, practicing self-care, watching “The Golden Girls” and documentaries. She lives in Atlanta, GA, is happily married with 7 baby chickens, 5 children, and 2 dogs.

Coach Yovanna gave an amazing talk to the young ladies Atlanta GLOW serves during our first monthly group mentoring event of 2023. The group mentoring activity was vision board making, and Yovanna’s talk gave them encouragement and empowerment as they thought about their future and purpose in life. It's always a pleasure to work with Yovanna. I admire her professionalism. Throughout the event, she kept the energy level high and engaged the audience in a variety of fun activities. Yovanna's sense of humor was also top-notch, and had everyone laughing, dancing and having a good time. But what really impressed me about her was her ability to smoothly transition between different segments of the event. Their was moments we had to pivot and she did it with ease which allowed everyone to enjoy themselves without worrying about the logistics.
