Bio

Yaron is a retired IDF Lieutenant Colonel who continues to serve in the reserves. Over the course of his distinguished military career, he held every command position—from combat soldier to Deputy Brigade Commander.

He also served as a Special Operations Officer, was wounded three times in the line of duty, and was honored with the 2017 Presidential Award for Excellence.

Today, Yaron serves as Vice President of IDSF – National Security Experts Defending Israel, a frequent military analyst and commentator on Israeli and international media outlets, and a columnist for various publications, including the international magazine EPOCH. He is also an organizational consultant for start-up companies and a senior advisor to the Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce.
