From April 3, 2016 to June 24, 2017, Vince Morales was a homeless veteran in San Diego, CA. Overcoming suicidal thoughts, deep depression, shattered identity and self-worth, financial devastation, and loss of hope. Vince overcame the struggles of homelessness and launched out as a life coach while still a homeless veteran. He and his wife created streams of income that helped them off the street into their current residence. They proud to now own that residence, whereas they were homeless just five years ago.
Vince Morales is Founder and Principal Catalyst for Validus Coaching & Consulting, previously known as Zoe Transformation. He is a Master Certified Professional Coach (MCPC), certified Maxwell Leadership DISC Behavioral Personality facilitator and certified Maxwell Leadership coach, trainer and Speaker. His coaching niche includes mindset and self-image mastery, and resilience coaching. He is a leadership consultant offering leadership masterminds, seminars, and workshops and he coaches, consults, and empowers his clients to understand their mindset, limiting beliefs, perceptions, personal self-image, mental models, and how to make distinctions that target self-sabotaging behaviors hindering personal success, transformation, and leadership growth. These typically result from personal toxic belief systems. Vince also serves as a mentor to aspiring coaches.
Prior to coaching, Vince served 13 years in law enforcement and has 17 years of entrepreneurial experience (five businesses) since 2002. He is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and is a proud parent of an active-duty Marine.
Vince earned his Master's of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University and is currently a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University where he is earning a Ph.D. in Performance Psychology.
Vince first began coaching and mentoring in 1995 by empowering high school and middle school students to be a voice and impact maker on youth violence/gang issues, bullying, and conflict resolution. He facilitated the student role in actively participating as a part of the community's grassroots efforts. Vince's mentoring efforts were through his role as a school resource officer (SRO) for his department.
Vince is a strong believer in the Maxwell Leadership mandate of adding value to others and developing leaders to maximize their role of influence within their respective spheres of influence.
He and his beautiful wife, Michelle, have been married nearly 35 years and are the proud parents of four adult children and a baby, Radiant Destiny, who passed in 1989.
