After going through a divorce in 2014, I found myself in the position of working paycheck-to-paycheck with little to spare at the end of each month.
As a single mom, I wanted financial security for my child, so I set out to make the right connections to learn how to flip homes in California. Although I had early success, legal expenses from the divorce were extracting all the profits I was making, but I was determined to build wealth and a legacy for my family. When my daughter moved to Louisiana for college, I relocated to Jackson, MS so I could be closer to her, and that’s where I started my real estate investment career in earnest. Discouraged by a few set-backs that would leave me nearly homeless, within a month I closed on my first home and had $500 left to my name.
In 2018, I founded “WIT (Whatever It Takes) Property Finders” and finally accomplished my goal of building my wealth and legacy. From those humble beginnings, I now own four multi-family complexes and over 60 rentals and commercial properties. In the last four years I have executed over 1,000 transactions such as traditional and non-traditional flips, buy and holds, notes, wraps, partials and wholesaling properties such as single-family residences, multi-family properties, storage units, mobile home parks, and retail and commercial buildings. I have also retained over $72 million from the field.
Currently, I am writing a book that will release in August 2019. Most recently, I have completed my very first box product! I built this empire by doing WIT - Whatever It Takes!
