Valerie Martinelli

Valerie is an Executive Business & Leadership Coach with a focus on helping other women succeed. The mission of her business, Valerie Martinelli Consulting, is to provide the skills necessary for successful, productive, dynamic, and equal lives. She teaches people how to refine, develop, and work towards their goals, leadership development, including the refinement of communication and negotiation skills. She also works to develop confidence-building skills and abilities. With Valerie's coaching, in particular for her female clients, the goal is to be empowered, inspired, and engaged.

Valerie is also an HR and Management Consultant. She believes that workplaces should boast high levels of diversity, engagement, and retention is important to our quality of life. She is skilled at creating programs, policies, and proposals that correspond to employers interested in establishing corporate cultures that benefit diversity and inclusion. As an HR Consultant, she also provides HR audits and develops employee handbooks and other workplace policies.

As the Founder of Innovate 50/50, a gender equality initiative based on mentorship and a social awareness and advocacy campaign for women's rights, Valerie pushes to bring women's leadership to the forefront. Through this program, women can be mentored in entrepreneurship/ business, government/ public administration, leadership, and financial literacy. She also leads #InnovateWomen, a monthly Twitter chat panel discussion that discusses current issues that affect women in the workplace that have had a consistent reach of 500K- 1M impressions at the end of each week the chat occurs.

A natural writer, she is a contributor to Careers in Government’s blog GovTalk, a monthly blog, since April 2014. She is also a writer for TalentCulture, League of Women in Government, and many other blogs regularly.

Most recently, she became a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, an invite-only community of leading business & career coaches.
