Traci Rooks hails from Omaha, Nebraska but spent most of her early childhood in Southern Italy. She comes from a large family of women who instilled a strong sense of independence and confidence in her upbringing and she holds steadfast to that today. Traci graduated college with a BS in Global Business Management and lived the life of a overworked executive for many years when she found herself on the brink of a stress induced burnout. She knew she needed to make a change and spent countless hours searching for something to bring balance and harmony to her life. About two years ago, Traci began practicing meditation at a local Zen Center in town where she learned the basic principles of Zen Meditation then went on to earn her certificate as Intermediate practitioner and is currently taking advanced Zen Meditation and Sutra Studies. Through her own research and practice, Traci understands the importance that meditation, gratitude and dreams has on manifesting the things you want in life and she has created a daily practice around these three things. Since doing so, Traci has fulfilled her dreams to direct films, write screenplays and books and travel the world.
