Providing effective mental health care and advocacy is important to Tim, who has loved ones and family members that have experienced Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Addiction, and Autism. He believes that personalized care is crucial in serving individuals and their families. Tim found his calling in this field after gaining valuable experience in finance, accounting, and risk management. His career path led him from working as a CPA consultant with Ernst & Young to founding an organization that provides mental and behavioural health services to youth nationwide called Family Help & Wellness.
After working as a CPA specializing in healthcare and insurance, Dupell transitioned to management accounting with HMO Oregon/Capital Health Care. His six years of experience with the company have helped him identify areas where individuals needed to receive the required services. Later, he was appointed CFO of The Corvallis Clinic, where his expertise helped establish financial sustainability and integrity. Dupell noted that both positions enabled him to form lifelong connections with people who care about providing clients, customers, and employees with high respect, dignity, and appreciation.
At Physician Partners, Inc., Dupell served as CFO, Secretary, and Treasurer, managing the overall financial activities of a venture-backed company for the first time, discovering the importance of ownership aptitude.
