A native Manhattanite turned hoodie-wearing San Franciscan, Ted Kohnen has become the marketing agency growth specialist. First, with this career at global B2B agency, Stein IAS, where he was CMO and then Managing Director overseeing offices in the US and China. Currently, Ted is the President of global digital marketing agency, Retina (a Transiris company). As President, Ted works closely with CEOs, CMOs and other organizational decision makers on business, product and marketing strategies. He is charged with the integration of a world-class marketing technology offering that includes AI, marketing automation, CRM and business intelligence solutions with award winning marketing strategy, creative and go-to-market solutions.
Over his career Ted has led Agency expansions and grown those offices in both head count and revenue. His success made him the youngest managing director in Stein’s 46 year history. Over his career, Ted has led key account wins and assignments such as Boeing, Western Union, Weight Watchers, Oracle, NCR, HP Enterprise and the US Government.
