He considers his most prized accomplishment to have coached his children’s little league teams for over twenty consecutive sport seasons (ten years). From his daughter’s basketball team and his sons’ football team with the assistance of some dedicated parents and great kids, he was able to string together several consecutive championship seasons.
Coach Tea, as he is called within the youth sports’ community is known for walking thru the aisles of Walmart and the grounds of local soccer parks recruiting for his football teams. With league fees and equipment fees not so easily manageable for some of his players, Coach Tea converted his football team into a 501(C3) Non-profit organization and raised over $20,000 for his three football teams to all receive free home and away uniforms, helmets, shoulder pads, socks and cleats. The local youth association was so intrigued by this concept, that Coach Tea was asked to consult them on how to make this a league wide effort.
To entrepreneurs, Coach Tea is known by his government name Tearod Robertson. He considers himself as every entrepreneur’s favorite entrepreneur. There is not a business venture he is afraid to touch. There is not a risk, not worth investigating. His personal business interests covers a wide spectrum of ventures from custom home building, designing urban apparel, developing mobile apps, designing web sites and consulting small businesses and other entrepreneurs.
He proclaims to be just a little ol’ country boy from Arkansas. He is a member of the One Community Church in Plano, TX. He is a graduate of Pine Bluff, High School. He was inducted into The Iota Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, and Prince Hall Affiliated Haygood Masonic Lodge. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University.

He has been married to a local dentist and business owner, Fatima, for nineteen years. He has a daughter in college, a son in high school and a son in middle school
