I was born on July 24th, 2001; as the youngest of four children. I lived a very simple Montana childhood, but that wouldn't last. At the age of 11, I was diagnosed with Scoliosis: the unnatural curvature of the spine. I thought that it wouldn't be much of a problem. Two years later, I was going "under the knife" for an eight hour surgery that costed over $200,000. Five years later, my journey is far from over. However, this disability has given me a new ability: to leave a hand-print of the lives of others. In the last few years, I have devoted my life to helping others in any way I can; especially through the education of perseverance and initiative as well as the positive psychological effects of Servant Leadership. John Denver said it best when he said "peace is a conscious choice", so I have turned that into my life's philosophy. In my eighteen years, I have one thing to emphasize: if you strive today, you WILL thrive tomorrow!
