Bio

Tameka has first-hand knowledge of childhood trauma, teenage pregnancy and its impact on pursuing life's purpose and individual success. In her resilience, she has raised a severely premature son, obtained 4 degrees and now director of a nationally-known, non-profit organization while working as a Teacher Induction Specialist with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. Tameka has over 20 years experience training thousands of educators, families, and community leaders on strategies to break barriers and build strong relationships. Applying skills to engage and communicate/respond effectively across spectrums of socioeconomic diversity and trauma is imperative for teachers, families, and communities to make meaningful and successful connections.
