I am a mammy of three wonderful sons -2 have a diagnoses of Aspergers & A.D.H.D and my other son has been diagnosed with Autism & A.D.D, Dyspraxia, Anxiety and Depression. My books have been written based on true events relating to my fight to receive support and a diagnosis for each of my sons.
I have also worked as a professional carer so I have been privileged to have experienced both sides of the caring profession. In my book I give advice and bring hope to other families going through a similar struggle. I believe that through reading my book people in the Professional sectors can learn how to better connect with families and people living with disabilities. I have an upcoming sequel to my book "An Autism Journey to Acceptance". I would also like to mention that anyone who buys a book from me then €5 of the price will go to Irish Autism Action.
