I'm an experienced speaker with expertise in data science, machine learning, AI, teaching, and sociology. I'm equally comfortable discussing the social issues affecting AI and the technical challenges implementing machine learning strategies in real world business settings.

I present in a way that nontechnical or technical people alike find accessible and friendly, and I send audiences home with practical tools to make their own work better, more sustainable, and more ethical.

I've presented to audiences from 30 to 300, in academic settings, business seminars, and industry conferences.

I won't speak at all-white or (otherwise) all-male events.

My fee is negotiable, and I may be willing to speak for travel/board expenses depending on the circumstances. I am happy to travel anywhere in the US or internationally if travel expenses are covered.

I have three types of presentation: short informative talks (30 min or less), longer hands-on tutorials (more than 30 min, up to a few hours), and keynotes with a more sociological/theoretical topic (length to suit).
