The Science of Happiness

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO BECOME MUCH HAPPIER THAN YOU ARE NOW IN JUST 5 MINUTES A DAY

Science got in the game of Happiness about 20 years ago and have made the most revolutionary discoveries:
- What we instinctively think will make us happy only contributes to a very small proportion of our happiness potential
- We have the power to become happier, pretty much regardless of what is going on in our life, by practicing easy intentional activities every day

We will debunk myths and dive into the scientific definition of what Happiness truly is.
We will look at the barriers of a happy life in the 21st century and explore simple tools and strategies to significantly and sustainably boost our happiness and emotional wellbeing.

You will leave with a set of tangible tools to significantly and sustainably boost your happiness over just 10 days!

Resilience - Recharge the Inner battery

A CUTTING-EDGE APPROACH TO THE HEAVY TOPIC OF PERSONAL RESILIENCE BASED ON SCIENCE, TIME-EFFICIENCY AND FUN.

More than ever, in those days of uncertainties, it is crucial that we feel resilient so that we can keep going, maintaining not only our performance in the workplace but also our health.

Of course, some of us seem naturally more resilient than others but resilience is not something that we have or have not. Resilience is something that we can all build and must maintain.

Most of our issues with resilience come from a misconception : we instinctively associate resilience with "pushing through" difficulties, grit, willpower. From a scientific perspective, this notion is totally inaccurate!

Let's bring Science to the rescue, learn what being resilient truly means, understand all the domains that either contribute to or erode our resilience.
You will learn a set of scientific, practical and fun tips and strategies to boost your resilience pretty effortlessly.

Curating a positive mindset

YOUR MINDSET IS YOURS TO CHOOSE. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MINDSET BY TAKING YOUR SHOWER DIFFERENTLY, NO JOKE. IT'S THAT EASY!

The days of the glass half-full of half-empty are over. Science has recently demonstrated that the glass is refillable, for everyone!

Join me in this workshop to understand the powerful principles of neuroplasticity and learn easy tips and tools to boost your optimism and build a positive mindset, pretty much regardless of the challenges of your environment.

Navigating change, setbacks and difficulties

Life is a rollercoaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump or you can throw your hands up in the air and Enjoy the Ride!"

The better you are able to go with the flow, adapt and stay positive, the easier it will be for you to live your best life at work and at play.

We will explore what is happening in our body and our brain when we are facing change, setbacks and uncertainties and how this impacts our behaviours, our emotional states but also our performance.

You will learn to identify when you are in resistance and how to shift from the avoidance motivation system that paralyses your initiative and optimism towards the approach motivation system that pushes you to move forward, outside of our zone of comfort, to take risks and go with the flow, even if it feels uncomfortable.

You will leave the workshop with a set of tangible tools to embrace change, foster creativity and optimism and step out of your comfort zone with calm and confidence.

The power of Social Connections

Loneliness is a 21st century epidemic with critical impacts on our health and wellbeing.

Never have we been so connected to others, constantly in contact through technology and yet never has our society been suffering so much from loneliness.

This session explains the science behind our need to connect with others in a meaningful manner, and informs how we can bypass the barriers we are facing in the way we live and work today.

We will explore tangible strategies to begin to build stronger, more enjoyable social connections and more meaningful relationships, including the concept of presence and making time, kindness and compassion, nourishing activities and how we can build meaningful relationships at work and at play.

Participants will leave the session with an understanding of the importance of prioritising our connection with others to enhance our health and wellbeing, along with ideas for how to overcome obstacles to achieving this.

The no-BS Stress Detox

THIS IS NOT ANOTHER SESSION ON STRESS BUT A REAL GAME CHANGER, ALL SCIENCE BASED AND WITH INCREDIBLE RESULTS.

Science has shown that we spend 70% of our waking hours in stress mode. We are so used to it that we don't even notice it. But that doesn't mean that stress is not hurting us!

We will look at the neurobiological mechanisms of stress and understand how they impact your physical health, wellbeing, relationships and performance.

We will explore and practice these science-backed easy and pragmatic techniques you can realistically integrate into your busy days to manage stress more efficiently and ultimately enhance how you feel and act on a daily basis.

Once you have tamed stress, you become healthier & happier!
You will leave the masterclass with a very good understanding of what stress is and a set of tangible techniques and strategies to efficiently manage stress. We will build a 12 minutes daily routine that will change how you feel in record times!

Embracing differences

Embracing differences, Diversity and Inclusion is the right thing to do from an ethical perspective but here I would like to introduce a different and very exciting perspective on this topic based on the science of happiness:

How Embracing differences is good for you as a human being, it is good for your own health and wellbeing, for a successful meaningful life, for a more creative and powerful society.

We will look at why is it sometimes so difficult to connect with others when they are different from us? Why are there still some divides and how can we surmount them?

You will understand that our brain is stuck in a survival state that is preventing us from thriving, individually, in our organisations, communities and societies.

I will share some inspiring stories and pieces of research that demonstrate how embracing differences improves our health and performance. But most importantly, you will learn 5 tips, super easy and practical to thrive through differences.
