Sophie Zawadzki

Sophie Zawadzki is a 16 year old aspiring filmmaker devoted to creating equality in the film industry. She is the founder of Reel Girls Film Festival, the first ever all girls international film festival with judges such as Alicia Malone, Naomi McDougall Jones, and Kelly Fyffe-Marshall. She created this film festival to create a platform where female filmmakers like herself can connect and share their films. The festival is a call to young female filmmakers of the importance of them creating films and the need to hear their voices. Sophie would like to share this call to action and the need for change in the male dominated industry which is film.
