Sonya Saturday

Sonya Saturday is a Los Angeles-based cartoonist, writer and photographer. Her work has a sly and satirical sense of humor, and often features bright colors, sex, death and dinosaurs.

Sonya's work has been published by Simon & Schuster, Northwest Press, and Stacked Deck Press. Her comics and art have been seen in The Creative Pulse, Antigravity Magazine, Murze Magazine, Too Much Coffee Man Magazine, Transformation Magazine, Queer Majority, and The Independent Florida Alligator, among others.

She has been active with Prism Comics–the LGBTQIA comics non-profit organization–since 2008. She regularly attends comic book conventions throughout Southern California, often speaking on panels related to queer comics.
