Currently, Shawn is licensed to practice law in 12 states and the District of Columbia. R. Shawn is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida, Maryland and Texas.   SPEAKER R. Shawn McBride received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2002 with honors.
