Sharita Collins

Sharita is currently a Minister in Training at the Open Door Mission True Light Church where she has served faithfully since 1998 under the leadership of Bishop Maureen L. Davis, D.Min, Pastor. Before being assigned to her current position as the Graphics, Production and Media Ministry Leader, Sharita served faithfully with the Outreach to Youth Ministry for over 22 years. Both as a volunteer and the Assistant Director.

Outside of her church, Sharita also serves as the Creative Director for a South African based ministry called IVOW International Ministries under the guidance of founder, Apostle-Prophet Cindy Jumat. In addition to praying and interceding as an intercessor for the ministry, Sharita guides all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department.

She also serves as an intercessor and prayer leader with the Teach Us to Pray Ministries under the direction of Minister Precious Mines and Deaconess Nellie Thomas. The ministry leads a tribe of intercessors and are training up prayer warriors who come together monthly for prayer, intercession, and fasting. The ministry also consists of teaching cohorts of classes on topics of prayer and spiritual formations, facilitating workshops, and hosting conferences.

As Sharita helps to build prayer warriors and intercessors, as an entrepreneur she owns a company called Achieve Greatness where she works with an amazing team to build small business owners. Helping them create business and marketing strategies and develop smart branding and done-for-you systems for their business. She is a wife, mother of three amazing boys, a male cat named Izzy, and hopes their expecting child will be the daughter she’s able to rock a pink tutu dress with.

Other Info: I serve international clients, love pillow fighting with my kids because throwing the pillows at them reminds me of my softball playing days in high school and college.

I was also told I would not have children after two surgeries to correct the problem. It was through God's miraculous works, I was healed of bi-lateral endometriosis and a rare genetic disorder called pheochromocytoma.
