Bio

Scott Linney is a life-long resident of North Carolina. He is an author who believes in the power of reading to influence the developing minds of children. Scott has a Master of Science degree in Education, and he is currently a full-time community college instructor.

Teaching children about diversity in the animal kingdom so they have a healthy respect for the diversity of all life on our planet is integral to raising a healthy child.

Literacy Takes a Father's Involvement

Fathers must read to their children and become a part of the literacy solution. I held a seminar to show fathers how to demonstrate that reading is essential to their lives and to be seen reading often as inspiration to budding learners.
