Sarah Warren is an entrepreneur based in Tallahassee, Florida, whose career foundation was built on more than a decade of legal practice in public finance and local government representation. She developed a reputation for delivering practical legal solutions and guiding complex bond financing transactions, as well as serving as counsel for numerous special taxing districts. Today, she has transitioned from practicing law to pursuing independent business ventures with her husband, Gabe, applying the strategic thinking and problem-solving skills gained from years in the legal field.
Raised in Aspen, Colorado, Sarah graduated from Aspen High School in 2002 as a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications, graduating cum laude in 2006. During her time at Rollins, she held multiple leadership roles in Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, including serving as president. Sarah went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010, where she served as Associate Editor for the Environmental Journal and participated in the International Law Practice Clinic.
Sarah began her professional career at American Express in 2011, excelling in corporate account business development and ranking among the top performers in her division. In 2013, she joined the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s Office of General Counsel, where her work centered on community planning and strategic business development. The following year, she joined Hopping Green & Sams, P.A., becoming a shareholder in the Special District practice group and representing clients such as developers, community development districts, and stewardship districts. In 2022, she moved to Bryant Miller Olive P.A., continuing her focus on public finance law and infrastructure development.
Her expertise includes advising on tax-exempt bond issuances, assisting in the creation and governance of special districts, serving as underwriters’ counsel, and providing legal guidance for infrastructure projects such as roadways, utilities, and stormwater systems that support new developments.
Beyond her professional career, Sarah Warren is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, where she contributes to leadership initiatives, educational outreach, and mentorship. A lifelong equestrian who has competed nationally, she co-founded the Rollins College Equestrian Team. She also enjoys hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and creative writing, combining her love for the outdoors with her passion for personal growth and creativity.
