Bio

Santa Victorio is one of those weirdos who loves public speaking. Ten years of experience has taught her that public speaking is a powerful skill that can greatly uplift both your personal and professional experience. For this reason, Santa is passionate about teaching as many as possible on how to master it.

Outside of earning a formal education in Communications, her speaking experience includes leading as President for her company and college’s Toastmasters clubs, serving as the assistant to international speaker, Brian Rashid, and competing in speech and debate. Santa has a won a Division Award in the 2016 World Championship of Public Speaking put on by Toastmasters and the Stephen Brophy Memorial Scholarship for an essay on the power of public speaking.

Workshop on Overcoming the Fear of Public Speaking

Most people fear public speaking more than they do death. Nonetheless, effectively communicating in front of groups is a necessity to being competitive in today’s job market. This begs the question: how do you overcome the fear of public speaking? Contrary to popular belief, imagining people in their underwear will not do the trick. The real answer is much less sexy. One must prepare their talk well in advance and practice public speaking as much as possible.

This interactive workshop will empower audience members to do exactly that by overviewing a timeline for preparing a specific talk as well as long-term tactics to kick speech anxiety to the curb. Don’t worry… public speaking will NOT be required.
