With over 20 years under her belt in marketing and digital business, with international brands and some of the largest publishers in North America (TC Media, TVA, Lagardère Active, Hearst Publications), Sandra is now Managing Director, North America for Happyfication, a company that blends data science and technology in order to reboot the media industry chain.
Sandra recently held the position of Group Publisher at for ELLE in Canada, responsible for overseeing a wide range of publishing functions, from marketing and promotions to multiplatform content and strategic partnership development. She has extensive experience on both agency and client side, working for brands such as Lançome, IKEA, Biotherm, Suzuki, Reader’s Digest and GM Motors.
Sandra has a long history of involvement in volunteer programs from roles on the front line to participation of various boards. She has organized computer camps in the Philippines, developed integration activities in her local community as a Board Member for Outremont en famille, and acts as a mentor in various organisations including Seize Your Future and McGill MBA and Montreal Chamber of Commerce Mentoring Program. She was also one of the founding members of the Montreal Chapter of Room to Read, and has been activity involved in the Dress for Success Montreal. She currently sits on the Board of Horizon Carrière, an organisation that provides settlement and integration services to residents in East Montreal. Sandra's latest side-hustle is Mentoro, a non-profit mentoring program for younger professionals. After launching Mentoro in Montreal in 2016, Sandra has also launched a satellite in Miami and is working on developing in other cities across the US.
Sandra holds and MBA from McGill University, a Bachelors in Communications and French Literature from York University, a certificate in Digital Transformation from INSEAD. She is also certified Prosci Change Management certified.
