Ryan Kolonich

January 27th 2019 my life changed forever. I was 18 at the time a senior in highschool and was your average teenager nothing out of the ordinary. I had lived a fairly i guess you could say normal life until that day. I Had Gone skiing with my schools ski club. I would attempt a ski jump that day for the first and last time. I had broken my L-1 vertebrae and was paralyzed from the waist down. I had emergency surgery and was told I would most likely never walk again. however I never gave up and I have since recovered to the point of walking with only small AFO Braces or nothing at all, God saved me and gave me a second chance I have learned so much and grown so much from this experience and continue to work to improve till this day.
