Ryan Buckley is the Vice President for the Lakeland Magic, the Orlando Magic development team. He is originally from Long Island, NY, but left the cold in 2011 for the warmth of Lakeland, FL, where he attended college at Florida Southern College. Four years later, he received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida Southern College and received his MBA from the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College in 2016.
Prior to joining the Lakeland Magic, Ryan worked as a Sports and Special Events Coordinator for Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing from 2015-2017 and a short stint with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2015. Currently, Ryan serves on the Board of American Red Cross, is a committee member of Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center, is an Alumni Advisor for Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and is an adjunct professor at Florida Southern College.
