Ron Shuali, M.Ed

Ron Shuali, M.Ed has spent over 15 years working and presenting in the education marketplace. He is an author, top motivational speaker and presenter with expertise in the preschool and elementary school arena. Ron has spoken at continuing professional development national and regional conferences for organizations like the NAEYC, NJEA and the Goddard Systems just to name a few and presents school assemblies nationally as well.

Ron has been a student of many disciplines of martial arts starting at age 12. His journey began with 5 years of Tae Kwon Do until he attended college. He joined the martial arts club and traveled to other schools to compete in full contact team tournaments. While attending college, he met his second teacher and began studying Wu Shu Kung Fu. After graduating with a Bachelor's from Rutgers University, he met his 3rd teacher and earned his Black Belt in American Freestyle Karate. After 4 years he found his 4th teacher and began his training on the more internal martial art of Hung Gar Kung Fu. His thirst for continuous knowledge led him to his last teacher as he studied Isshinryu Karate. Currently Ron and his team teach two systems that he developed in dozens of preschools. Shua Fun Do is the art of breathing and fun and Yogarate which combines yoga and martial art principles which lead to students who embrace deep breathing and self defense as one.

His vast knowledge of the inner working of the mind led to the creation of some of the most revolutionary and forward thinking award winning programs in existence today. Participants and organizations alike have agreed that his thought-provoking information combined with his comical entertainment background always left the crowd wanting more. Through his travels Ron has done everything from stand up comedy, improvisational theater, teaching in preschools and professional wrestling. This journey taught him the truth about connecting with an audience, from preschooler to professional. His ability to quickly grab the audience with true life stories while simultaneously introducing techniques and concepts is exceptionally effective. The audiences receive the gift of learning through laughter to ensure that they will always walk away thinking and excited to test out the new techniques that were just learned.
