Led the largest rebranding in franchise history, MBE to THE UPS STORE. Created value through the rebranding through strong customer solutions, revenue diversification, and improving processes for operational efficiencies with complete P&L responsibilities.

Building UPS Supply Chain Solutions

Oversaw the integration of 26 acquisitions that became UPS Supply Chain Solutions (UPS SCS). Drove the execution of revenue growth and business goals with complete P&L responsibilities in North and South America. The business unit provided global transportation, freight, logistics and distribution.

Chairmen's Award for Excellence

Two time winner of UPS's Chairmen's Award for excellence for the Iowa District and Upstate New York Districts.

Lead UPS's Entrance into Healthcare Distribution

During my time as president of UPS Supply Chain Solutions I steered UPS’s entry into the health care industry and created the mantra, “It’s a patient, not a package. ®”

Motivational Keynote Speaker

Rocky is one of the best keynote motivational speakers in the country and internationally. He has spoken in large and small venues all over the US including cities like Atlanta, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, NYC, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Houston, LA, Charlotte and many others. Buiding a Culture and Brand

After a distinguished 36 year UPS career, Rocky served as CEO and Director of UniTek Global Services based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. UniTek Global Services is a provider of engineering, construction management and installation services to companies specializing in the telecommunications field. In this role, Rocky was responsible for leading restructuring and sales efforts along with rapidly building the enterprise brand and developing a culture needed to integrate past acquisitions, while creating a unified company with one vision and brand.

A Career with Many Highlights

Rocky, spent 36 years at UPS, a global corporation with one of the most recognized and admired brands in the world. UPS is the world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services, managing the flow of goods, funds and information in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

During this 36-year career at UPS, Rocky served as President and General Manager, of UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Here, his responsibilities included the integration of over 20 acquisitions that became UPS Supply Chain Solutions, a global entity.

Responsibilities included the execution of revenue growth and business goals with complete P&L responsibilities in North and South America. This business unit provided global transportation, freight, logistics and distribution, and international trade services. As it’s leader he had to develop a distribution strategy among the many verticals served and build an organic growth strategy. The hallmark was the development and implementation of a health care distribution strategy that today is the growth engine for UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

Rocky also served as President of Retail Operations which included MBE & The Rebranding to the UPS Store Network. Mail Boxes Etc., Inc. (MBE), a wholly owned subsidiary of United Parcel Service (“UPS”) of America, Inc., is the world’s largest franchisor of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers. The UPS Store® and Mail Boxes Etc. ® together comprise nearly 5500 independently owned locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.

This opportunity gave Rocky the insight and knowledge of franchising and franchising networks along with internet sales to compliment same store sales and new store sales.

Finally, during his traditional UPS career he held an array of positions including: Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the South California District, the Iowa and Upstate NY districts. He was President of the East Central Region and the Southeast Region where he had responsibility for all facets of the business in the 10 districts, throughout the nine states, along the eastern seaboard and District of Columbia that encompassed 72,000 employees.

Largest Franchise Rebranding

Rocky also served as President of UPS's Retail Operations where he led one of the largest rebranding initiatives in franchising history – The UPS Store, revolutionizing the $9 billion retail shipping and business services market, which included MBE & The Rebranding to the UPS Store Network. Mail Boxes Etc., Inc.
