As a professional Sales & Leadership Coach, Robert Grabel is committed to serving others with a 30+ year track record of business development and sales success. After building a financial advisory practice, Robert became a wholesaler in the sector, helping people grow their businesses. He went on to working with nonprofits gaining experience in everything from launching his own start-up charity to serving in leadership roles. In this time, he worked closely with volunteers and staff to raise millions of dollars in support for a wide range of causes including elderly care, homelessness, education, and youth development.
Robert credits his training as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley as the best education for success in everything he has done since. As a rookie, he was recognized for his success, driven by consistent prospecting, presenting, and an ability to build new client relationships. He then took that approach into the charitable sector, focusing on enhancing the fundraising abilities of every team he worked with, including well known organizations such as the American Heart Association and JDRF. Robert launched and built his coaching practice utilizing same these tools and has coached leaders 1:1 and in groups to be their best, both personally and professionally.
Robert lives with his wife Kimberly in New York City with their dog. He’s incredibly proud of his daughter Alexandra, who is an architect in Philadelphia. Robert also writes articles on sales and leadership, plays guitar and bass, runs marathons, and loves his time with his family and dog. His first book, Just Do The Work: The Portable Nonprofit Coach, is available on Kindle and paperback.
